San Diego, CA – Multi-Car Crash with Injuries on Interstate 8

San Diego, CA (June 22, 2024) – The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an injury crash in San Diego on Wednesday, June 19th. The accident took place just after 2:00 p.m. on Interstate 8.

According to a report from the CHP, multiple cars, including a silver truck and a red sedan, collided with each other. The red sedan came to rest in the middle of the road while the truck came to rest on the highway’s off-ramp. As a result of the initial crash, two other cars collided with a divider along the highway while trying to avoid the accident. Paramedics arrived at the scene and treated at least one person for undisclosed injuries before they were transported to a local hospital. There is no update on the condition of the victims at this time. An investigation into the accident is ongoing. No further details are available.
