Riverside, CA – Multiple Injuries Reported in Wrong-Way Crash on 60 Freeway

Riverside, CA (April 28, 2024) – Injuries were reported in a wrong-way crash in Riverside on Sunday morning, April 28th. The accident took place around 2:15 a.m. on the 60 Freeway near the 215 Freeway.

According to a report from the scene, a driver was traveling northbound in the southbound lane before striking three vehicles in a head-on collision. Several injuries were reported as a result of the accident. At least one person had to be extricated following the collision. Three people were transported to a hospital, with two victims suffering serious injuries and a third sustaining moderate injuries.
