Carson, CA – Head-On Crash on 110 Fwy. Leads to Injuries

Carson, CA (February 10, 2024) – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Friday morning, February 9th. The accident occurred around 5:40 a.m. on the Harbor 110 Freeway, just south of the 405 Freeway in Carson.

According to CHP officials, a pickup truck and a sedan were involved in a head-on collision. The crash happened when one of the drivers was traveling the wrong way. There is no word on which vehicle caused the accident. Neither of the drivers have been identified. Following the crash, at least one person was treated at the scene by paramedics and was also taken to a nearby hospital. The extents of the injuries sustained is not known at this time. Officials blocked the road while they investigated the crash and cleared the scene. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and to find alternate routes of travel. It is unknown whether any charges will be filed. An investigation is underway and no further information is available.
