Carson, CA – Two Hurt in I-405 Crash at Avalon Blvd.

Carson, CA (March 31, 2024) – Police in the Carson area responded to the scene of a two-car accident on Saturday night, March 30th. The crash happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 405 just north of the on-ramp for Avalon Boulevard.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. Both vehicles overturned following the collision and then traveled down an embankment before coming to rest. Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Both victims were taken to nearby hospitals where they received additional treatment. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time. Police continue to investigate the collision and have not said whether any charges will be filed. There is no further information available at this time.
