Alhambra, CA – Six Hurt, One Critical in Crash Involving Bus on I-10 at S. Atlantic Blvd.

Alhambra, CA (April 2, 2024) – Authorities in Alhambra were dispatched to the scene of a multi-car injury crash on Tuesday afternoon, April 2nd. The crash reportedly occurred around 3:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at the intersection with South Atlantic Boulevard.

According to an eyewitness report, a total of three vehicles were involved in the collision. A large tour bus and a white sedan were seen in the far right hand lane of the freeway near a concrete wall. Multiple emergency crews, along with firefighters, responded to assist the injured victims. Six people suffered injuries in the crash, including one person who was transported to a hospital in critical condition. There is no word on the nature or the extent of the other injuries. Police did not provide any information on the cause of the crash. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and to find alternate routes of travel if possible. At this time, there is no word on whether any charges will be filed. No further information is available.
