San Diego, CA – Pedestrian Hurt in Crash on Picador Blvd.

San Diego, CA (May 4, 2024) – A man was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in San Diego on Friday, May 3rd. The collision took place around 8:00 p.m. in the 1200 block of Picador Boulevard.

The San Diego Police Department was called to the accident scene in the aftermath of the collision. Police say that the victim was crossing Picador Boulevard in a westbound direction when he was hit by a 2017 Dodge Ram that was turning out of a parking lot. The 34-year-old male pedestrian suffered a fractured pelvis and was taken to UCSD Hospital. The 25-year-old driver of the Ram was not injured in the accident. Police remains on the scene for several hours while the crash was investigated. At this time. there is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed. An investigation remains ongoing.
