Lynwood, CA – One Hospitalized in Crash on Interstate 710 near Imperial Hwy.

Lynwood, CA (May 8, 2024) – One person was taken to the hospital following a crash that took place in Lynwood on Tuesday morning, May 7th. The accident happened just after 6:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 710, just south of Imperial Highway.

According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, a black BMW sedan and a gray GMC Sierra were involved in the accident. Both cars came to rest in the left hand lane of the road. One person was taken from the scene to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There is no word on how the accident occurred at this time. Police did not say whether any charges are expected to be filed. The road was partially closed while police investigated the accident.
