Lancaster, CA – Two Killed in Head-On Car Accident on 185th St. East

Lancaster, CA (February 4, 2024) – A fatal car accident was reported in Lancaster on Saturday evening, February 3rd. The accident happened around 11:15 p.m. on 185 Street East near the intersection with Avenue J.

According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, a white Chevrolet Malibu and a silver Honda Accord were traveling in opposite directions on 185th Street East. One of the vehicles crossed the center line and collided head-on with the other car. Two motorists suffered critical injuries and were pronounced dead at the crash scene. A third victim was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital where they were listed in critical condition. The identities of the deceased victims have not been released at this time. The road remained closed for several hours following the crash. Drivers were told to avoid the scene and to find alternate routes of travel.

At this time, there is no further information. The accident remains under investigation.
