Fullerton, CA – Woman Killed in Three-Car Crash on Orangethorpe Ave.

Fullerton, CA (April 15, 2024) – A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash that took place in Fullerton on Monday morning, April 15th. The accident took place just after midnight at the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Harbor Boulevard.

According to the Fullerton Police Department, the crash involved a black Chevrolet Silverado, a blue Toyota Rav 4, and a white BMW. The BMW was traveling southbound on Orangethorpe when it slammed into the back of the Rav 4 at a red light. The BMW then collided with the Silverado at the same traffic light. A 62-year-old female passenger in the Rav 4 suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other motorists, a 22-year-old and a 25-year-old from Anaheim, along with an 18-year-old from Fullerton, were taken to the hospital for undisclosed injuries. The driver of the BMW was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the crash. No additional information has been released. An investigation is ongoing.
